WellFish Tech is developing the global standard for aquatic health management through continuous fish health monitoring. We are using rapid clinical chemistry analysis resulting in predictive fish health forecasting. We are looking for a Technical Field Manager that gets the opportunity to help develop the application of clinical biochemistry to aquatic animal health and welfare in Norwegian aquaculture and support the business development of WellFish Tech. In this role, you must have a genuine interest in aquaculture and are passionate about making an early-stage company succeed. Key to the role is the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Based in Norway, Scotland, and Canada, WellFish Tech is a dynamic and forward-looking company.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Norway Director to identify, develop, and coordinate new business opportunities
- Meeting with clients to present and use cases to demonstrate the value provided by clinical chemistry-based fish health assessment
- Cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and achieve growth targets
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the commercial plan for customers, revenue, profitability, and reputation
- You will advise the client fish health managers to the appropriate use of tests
- Supporting clients with data and reports to assist them in decision making
This position will require significant travel, particularly for developing customer relationships in the north of Norway.
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline like for example fish health
- Experience in the aquaculture industry (specifically from the salmonids sector)
- Driving license
- Fluent in Norwegian and English

- Ability to build and develop relationships at all levels
- A self-starter comfortable collaborating with colleagues in various fields
- Highly autonomous with effective time management abilities
- Flexibility to travel nationally as required
- Understanding and passion for the aquaculture industry
