Position Overview

The main responsibility of this position is to achieve the given sales targets and grow the Land-based Aquaculture tech solutions of Our Company in the Nordics through direct sales, customer support and relationship management. 

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver sales according to target
  • Quoting, bidding, negotiating, closing and follow-up sales of technology products and services aimed for the land-based sector
  • Participate in pricing decisions and margin calculations
  • Mapping new markets, searching for new opportunities
  • Building long lasting relationships with target customers and across the industry
  • Registration and reporting of sales data, creating sales pipelines in our CRM system
  • Customer’s point of contact in technical service
  • User training on products
  • Follow-up and service with sales agents and distributors
  • Participation in exhibitions, seminars and conferences
  • Monitor the market and collect intelligence on customers, industry trends and activities, competitors, and other relevant market players
  • Article writing and participation in the preparation of promotional material
  • Participation in development projects 

Desired experience and education

  • Track record of 5+ years as a Sales person, building relationships, pipeline and winning business in Enterprise Sales, with solutions selling, strategic selling or consultative selling
  • Relevant education within aquaculture, engineering or business
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the aquaculture industry
  • Strong understanding of business and the value proposition offered to customers
  • Good insight into technical products, mechanical and software solutions
  • Must be able to travel up to 40% within the Nordics region
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
